The CAYTA Bowl marks the first phase of a two-part tradition, leading into our Cruise for a Cause in February 2027—a Super Bowl weekend at sea aboard the Carnival Valor.
Together, these events raise critical funds for scholarships and educational travel, giving Austin youth the opportunity to explore the world, expand their perspectives, and dream bigger.

Support for this event strengthens community ties across Austin, Lawndale, and West Garfield Park while investing in an award-recognized program that has helped over 300 youth build life skills, certifications, and pathways to brighter futures.

The CAYTA Bowl sets the stage for an unforgettable night of sound, movement, and inspiration. With Zion Ali as the evening’s MC, expect dynamic performances by Monique The Singer, Windy Indie - Violinist, the Fernando Jones Band, and Lendell, the evening delivers nonstop energy, powerful moments, and meaningful connection.

As part of the program, we will honor the youth who traveled to Ghana through CAYTA’s cultural exchange initiative. Learn more about them below:
Osheanna Tyler-Hudson
Age 18 | Christ the King Jesuit College Prep | 12th Grade
Osheanna Tyler-Hudson has been an active member of CAYTA for five years, joining the program in eighth grade. Through her time with the organization, she has participated in multiple international travel experiences, gaining meaningful exposure to global cultures and a deeper understanding of her history. Osheanna’s journey reflects the power of long-term engagement, cultural exploration, and personal growth through experiential learning.
Tia L. Ford
Tia L. Ford has been a member of CAYTA for two years. During her time with the organization, she participated in CAYTA’s international travel experience to Ghana in the summer of 2025, where she gained a deeper understanding of her ancestry and cultural heritage. Tia’s journey reflects the impact of global learning, cultural connection, and personal growth through immersive experiences.

Zaria Owusu-Young has been part of CAYTA for one year and is currently a sophomore at Xavier University of Louisiana. Her experience traveling to Ghana provided meaningful cultural exposure and strengthened her global awareness.
